I was an Air Asia air stewardess previously, due to the pandemic, my job was being affected badly. Because of this, I was worried about the uncertain future. What’s the best step I can do to adapt to the current unstable situation. I am a mother of two young children and at that time, a new born baby. With such young children to take care of, I made the decision to be a full time homemaker.
I am grateful that I got to know my Sifu, Ms. Angie. She gave me a lot of inspiration and to aspire to. I am glad that I signed up for the Professional courses with Elegant Jewellery Studio (EJS). I found my passion through jewellery-making. Although my business isn’t as big, but I feel contented and satisfied whenever my clients receive the jewellery that I created -can see the happiness in their eyes.
I would highly recommend to those out there who’re still in search for a Guru in jewellery-making. Sign up for Professional courses with EJS. I have grown in more than just my skills, I can feel the differences in myself and I guarantee you will feel it too.
I worked as a company secretary, and did some part-time selling crystal bracelets before I decided to sign up for the Masterclass courses with Elegant Jewellery Studio (EJS).
I can see the difference in skill and creative design of the jewellery when compared to the ones that I have created before. The skills and technique that I have learnt through the Professional courses, there’s a significant improvement as compared to earlier and now my jewellery designs have also improved a lot!
Seorang kawan memperkenalkan kelas hobby Elegent Jewellery Studio/ EJS melalui FB posting mereka.
I chose to become a jeweler to turn my hobby into my occupation.I’m Suphie, a gemstones jeweller for my own company “Metastones” in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
Before I started my business, I didn’t have much knowledge about jewellery craft but handicrafts have always been my hobby from when I was 8 years old till now. I was always doing Do It Yourself crafts and creating small and big things.
Since I own a gemstones jewellery store, it made me want to explore more and learn professional craft skills to upgrade my products’ quality. So signed up for EJS’ hobby classes…And today, I’m still with EJS for Professional Course Level 3.
I started with using glass beads then to gemstones beads, from basic skill to professional skill. Ms. Angie is a very professional and patient teacher who is always willing to guide students step-by-step to help them in making their own jewellery. The courses were really interesting and have been beneficial in my journey of making customised jewellery.
My journey with beading began way back in 2013. I was so interested in beading during that time, but I did not know of any beading classes that I could attend or anyone that could teach me. So I turned to Youtube and Google for guidance. Beading became a hobby that I was very passionate about and I managed to make some sales out of this hobby to my close friends and family. However, this passion was slowly dying and left on hold due to my other work.
Early this year, I heard about Angie’s Jewellery making workshops which some of my friends have attended. They gave very good reviews so decided to go and attend the class for myself. The first class that I attended was the Lollipop Class which taught us techniques in wire works. After that class, my passion for jewellery making that was suppressed inside me suddenly resurfaced. I had so much fun during class and got to make new friends who shared the same interest.
I was then introduced to the Professional Fashion Jewellery Design Courses and with Angie and her team’s encouragement, I signed up…and that was it! Even though I completed the course in July 2022, learning does not stop. Angie and her team are always there to support my further improvements.
I also became one of their co-trainers for EJS when they do Jewellery Workshops in Kota Kinabalu which has increased my confidence. Jewellery making is a continuous journey. There is always something new to learn and new experiences to encounter. Thank you Angie and team for giving me back my passion in beading and Jewellery making!
I am a working mother of two. As a working mother, most of my time is spent on my family and work. After working more than 20 years in a corporate environment, I was yearning for a change and I thought- “What can I do to fulfil my purpose in my life and follow my passion?”. My husband always encouraged me to pick up a hobby to fill my time and improve myself.
As a loving husband, he signed me up for a jewellery making class from Elegant Jewellery Studio (EJS). At the EJS Workshop, I was fortunate to meet my mentor, Ms. Angie Ng, founder of EJS. She gave me plenty of encouragement and inspiration in jewellery making which prompted me to become passionate about jewellery making. With that, I decided to sign up for the comprehensive course on Professional Jewellery Making with EJS.
I am proud to say that I am a graduate student of EJS and plan to be a professional trainer for people who are as passionate about jewellery making as I am. At the same time, I am designing collections for special events and holidays, such as birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, mother’s & Father’s Day, Christmas, and events. I feel the utmost satisfaction to hear my clients appreciate my designs with their heartfelt compliments. This has been the most fulfilling and proudest moment in my jewellery making experience.
I was a Corporate Treasurer in a Multinational Health Company and transitioned to become an Entrepreneur in the Health Industry. I have been educating and training in the corporate world and with my current clients for years.
I met my mentor, Ms. Angie on a networking platform and we discussed how I can be a trainer as well as build a new business that could also help my clients. I have loved collecting jewellery pieces and wearing them since my younger days but did not have the time to really pick up jewellery making classes to learn. One of my burning desires is to teach and make jewellery that will make people happy when they wear it. With all that in mind, I signed up for the Professional courses with Elegant Jewellery Studio (EJS).
I find satisfaction in each piece of jewellery that I make. When I start wearing the jewellery that I have made, people compliment my jewellery though they may not know I made it myself. I intend to help my clients to find a purpose that makes them happy and satisfied by making their own jewellery as I did.
I am from Kota Kinabalu, I worked as a special needs teacher. In my retirement, I was looking for something that I could be passionate about. This was when I came across an EJS Facebook advertisement that caught my attention. After attending the classes, I became interested in their professional course especially after meeting Ms Angie.
What I learned from her, turned out to become my most favourite hobby. Ms Angie was an inspiration, every class was interesting that she made it easy for me to grasp the knowledge of Artisan Jewellery.
Hello! My name is Jacklyn. I have been making jewellery since Dec 2018. I started off with macrame bracelets, before I was introduced to EJS by a family. That’s when I decided to take up fashion jewellery design to further enhance my skills and knowledge. While gaining more experience from professionals in jewellery making, I was also able to meet and know people who share the same interest in fashion jewellery design.
Angie has transformed me into a better jeweller, she has taught me lots more than I could have wished for. From the minor details up to its technical form, tips and knowledge of different types of jewellery and so forth. I was able to create something that is really close to my heart because of her. And for that, I am truly grateful to her and EJS.
